Hi Russ and welcome! I have read your posts and I want to thank you for them. It is nice to hear a man's opinion.

I did  read your post and some of your blog - have you thought of going to the state attorney general's office or how about the local news? Maybe shedding some light on your situation through the media will get their butts in gear. Or at the very least, it might make people aware of what you are going through. 

I know when we had 2 officers injured in the line of duty here in Buffalo, it was all over the news and ( from what I saw) they received the best possible care. I don't think anyone can begin to understand what our officers go through in their jobs and to see them treated this way is disgusting. I want to know why the criminals have more rights than the victims - but that is for another time. I see too many people treated the way you are being treated and it is so frustrating- I just wish there was a better way. Please keep us posted as to how you are doing. Thank you and Good luck! 

Most of all I'd like to thank you for reading my post and the posts of strangers here I don't even know. I need a queen sized tempurpedic adjustable bed and a way to transport a scooter. I'm on SSDI and can't afford it. I broke my back in the line of duty while stopping a gang banger from assaulting my partner. It's not a disc problem I actually broke the bone during the altercation and the way my surgeon explained it "it was a burst fracture and the bone broke into tiny pieces of glass type parts and pierced and punctured my spinal cord" I've had 2 back operations - they both failed for the pain but the second held my spine together so it wouldn't snap and leave me totally paralyzed.
